An idea: since Audi TT was equipped with electrically controlled rear spoiler, maybe it will be possible to retrofit this option on other MQB based cars?

Research on Audi TT wiring

Looks like in Audi TT there's no separate spoiler module. Everything is controlled from BCM and wired from it directly.

  • Spoiler position motor is powered from pins A6 and A7.
  • Spoiler deployment is detected by two switched connected to pins A50 and A69.
  • Pin A15 looks like a ground connection between BCM, spoiler switches, and body.
  • Spoiler control switch connected to pin A49.
  • Spoiler deployed indicator connected to pin C47.

So maybe let's start with finding how this is enabled in Audi TT and try to perform the same coding/adaptations in Audi A3 8V to see if BCM will accept new values. If yes, it will most likely show a lot of error codes about spoiler not working, since it's not even wired.

Also would be a good idea to check if the BCM connectors are pinned in on the above pins.

Would be cool to enable the dead button in dashboard switch panel. That place would be perfect for this feature.
