Some low-priority functions can be executed by a slave module connected to LIN-BUS. For example RLHS module, ambient lights, interior alarm sensors, steering wheel buttons, battery monitoring module...

I'm going to use USB-to-LIN module (TJA2012T) to sniff on the LIN-BUS with my computer. And once I know what's going on over there, I can switch to UART-to-LIN module and Arduino board to create some kind of custom controller.
