Method

Dedicated bulb

Separate bulb designed to light up specific zone next to the car.

Fog lights

Fogs controlled independently as curb lights.

Swinging projector

Headlight projectors that can turn left or right to light up desired part of the road.

Control

Indicators

In cars without steering wheel angle sensor (part of ESP system, electronic power steering, active lane assist or other) cornering lights are controlled with indicators.

Steering wheel angle sensor

Based on the current speed and steering wheel angle control module decides if it should turn on fog light.

Other

Speed limit

Cornering lights will not be used if cars speed reaches certain speed. Especially in cars without steering wheel angle sensor.

Reverse gear

Both cornering lights turn on when in reverse gear to make sure that cars surrounding is seen better.

Fade out

When cornering light is turned off it fades for few seconds.
