I'm wondering if it's possible to retrofit power boot into Audi A3 8V sedan? Just like in other VAG sedans - Audi A8 or A6 or A4 or VW Passat? And since Passat is also made on MQB platform, I'm going to assume that it will work in A3 with a help of Audi Q2 or Q3 parts. Hope that I'm right...

Retrofit kit for Audi A3 8V is available as a whole set of needed parts and accessories:
=== Servo ===
* 8V0-054-960-E - TDI, front-wheel drive (PR-1X0)
There's couple version of the Stabilus Powerise servo motor that operates boot in VAG sedans:<ref>https://www.drive2.ru/l/609822135187163464/</ref>
* 8V0-054-960-D - TDI, all-wheel drive (PR-1X1)
* 3G5-827-851 from VW Passat B8
* 8V0-054-965-C - 2.0 TFSI, front-wheel drive (PR-1X0)
* 4G5-827-851-B from Audi A6 C7
* 8V0-054-965-D - 2.0 TFSI, all-wheel drive (PR-1X1)
* 4K5-827-851-C from Audi A6 C8
* 8V0-054-965-E - 1.0, 1.4, 1.5 TFSI, front-wheel drive (PR-1X0)
* 4N0-827-851-A from Audi A8 D5

The cheapest would be the best. I don't need much torque in Audi A3 8V - my trunk door should be lighter than the one in Passat.

I can't see an option for 1.8 TFSI, but I assume that it will be the same as for 2.0 TFSI, since both engines are from [[EA888]] family and share a lot of components.
But it looks like there's an even cheaper option:
* 4G8-827-852-B from Audi A7 C7

=== Webasto Heater ===
Not sure how exactly this mechanism works but it's the cheapest one there. It might be worth getting one just to try if it can operate in Audi A3 8V.
There are two major versions of the heater unit: diesel and petrol.

=== Telestart Module ===
=== Trunk module===
* 4H0-963-271-E - Audi Telestart module
* 5Q0-959-107-F /K from VW Passat B8
* xxx-xxx-xxx from Audi Q2 or Q3 ?

=== Antenna ===
=== Trunk lock ===
There's a fakra connector on the Telestart module. If Audi A3 is factory fitted with Webasto, module is connected with the roof antenna module. For retrofit there's an additional antenna that you can stick to the cars body.
* 81A-827-506 from Audi Q2 and Q3

I will also try to use a generic antenna from AliExpress, just to see if I can pair the remote with it. If there's a change of accessing bottom the OEM roof antenna, I would love to wire the module to it. I believe the roof antenna will provide better signal and higher remote range.
=== Wiring ===
* 3G5-971-147-AP from VW Passat B8
* xxx-xxx-xxx from Audi Q2 and Q3?

=== Remote ===
=== Buttons ===
There's couple of remotes that you can use. Of course Audi has the coolest one, with the display. But I believe other remotes (VW, Skoda...) should also work, since the heater module is the same for those cars.
I want to have while backlight in both the trunk closing button (trunk door) and trunk opening button (drivers door).
* 4N0-963-511 - Audi, two buttons
* 8V0-959-831-B - trunk opening button from Audi A3 8V facelift
* 4H0 963 511-A/B - Audi, 4 buttons, red backlight (T100?)
* 8V5-959-829 - mounting frame for trunk opening button in
* 4H0 963 511-C/D - Audi, 4 buttons, white backlight  (T100?)
* 4G0-959-831-C - white backlight trunk closing button
* 3G0-963-511-D - VW, two buttons
* 7N0-963-511-B - VW, two buttons (T91R)
* 8K0-963-511 / 7E0-963-511-B - Audi, two buttons

=== Wiring kit ===
=== Kick-open sensor ===
I've got one of those, new:
This is optional.
* [[8V0-054-931]] - wiring installation kit for Audi A3 8V.

Paid ~€50 for it. And it contains a lot of little things that I believe will be necessary during the installation.
